The Intensive Japanese Language and Culture Study Program is available every summer and winter. This is a three-week program designed for those who wish to improve their communication skills in Japanese language while increasing their understanding of Japanese culture through a variety of activities.

The KGU Winter School welcomes students from KGU's partner institutions. This 3 week program is designed for students who wish to study about "Cool Japan", which includes contemporary Japanese culture and products such as animation, manga, games, Japanese traditional cuisines and commodities that shapes "Cool Japan" from business studies and social science perspective.
Start of the program: Early June
Duration: 5 weeks
This 5 week program offers "East Asian Study" track - you can select courses that suit your interest, allowing you to study a variety of topics related to Japan and East Asia along with KGU students.

Kwansei Gakuin University (Japan), Mount Allison University (Canada), Queen's University (Canada), the University of Toronto (Canada), and King's University College at Western University (Canada) have jointly been running the Cross-Cultural College (CCC).
The CCC program is built around a core of practically-oriented courses in which Canadian and Japanese students work and live together to understand and solve pressing problems.
